本书关注的热点和难点问题主要有：全日制专业学位研究生教育的进展情况、公派研究生项目的实施效果、研究生资助体系改革成效、与创新人才培养密切相关的研究生跨学科教育议题，以及博士生延期完成学业的情况等。为了能够对本年度的诸多热点议题有更深层次的把握和了解，我们主要采用问卷调查方法，希望从研究生的切身感受出发，对研究生教育中相关重大改革举措的实际效果，做尽可能全面和系统的分析，以利于从中总结经验、发现问题，推动改革的进一步深入，促进改革成效的提高。
