《复合材料与工程专业英语》旨在指导该专业学生阅读相关专业的英语书刊和文献,进一步提高学生阅读英语科技资料的能力,并能以英语为工具获取复合材料与工程专业所需要的信息。本书共分8章, 共23个单元,每个单元有一篇精读课文和两篇泛读课文,配有相应的练习题、注释和词汇表。其中第1章为复合材料概论,主要介绍复合材料的概念、分类及应用;第2章和第3章分别介绍基体材料和加强材料,第4章介绍界面的分类、力学特征和检测方法。第5~8章分别介绍高分子基复合材料、金属基复合材料、陶瓷基复合材料、纳米复合材料的概念、制造技术和应用。
