内容简介
本教材共分8个单元，针对学科特点，紧扣“医学”二字，内容涉及医学专业的相关知识结构和职业场景，包括医学基础知识、医学教育、疾病预防、医疗保障、心理治疗、临终关怀、人工智能与医学以及中医等方面。每个单元由3个模块成，分别是:
1.Warm-up围绕单元主题开展相关活动，从以医学相关话题的视频材料人手，为学生进入下一阶段的学习做好准备。
2.Medical Reading提供与单元题相关的两篇阅读材料(Text A、Text B)，培养学生的专业阅读和理解能力，使学生获取相关专业知识和专业词汇。同时，聚焦两篇阅读材料中的常用及专业词汇、短语和句型的学习，开展针对性的训练，并结合医学专业英语的语言特征和翻译技巧，针对译中的常见问题强化英汉互译训练，提高学生的翻译能力。
3.Critical Thinking开发性话题讨论，使用与医学主题相关的音、视频材料对学生进行专业英语听力理解和会话能力的培养。
本教材可作为普通本科高校医学类ESP教材，适用于医约、卫生健康等相关专业，尤其适用于应用型本科高校同类专业，同时也可供医学院校硕士、博生等参考使用。
